The recent opening of the Xtreme Bugs exhibit at the Lawrence Hall of Science featured “Parhyale wrangling” and Hox gene expression activities hosted by Patel Lab members Erin Jarvis, Angela Kaczmarczyk, and Ryan Null. A display that features Patel Lab research on Hox genes and the evolution of appendage diversity in arthropods and the beautiful artwork of Jessica Poon will remain for the duration of the exhibit (Feb 1 – Aug 1).
