During his time as a postdoc in the Patel lab at UC Berkeley, Dr. Arnaud Martin (now faculty at George Washington University), with the help of Berkeley undergrads Joey Papador and Daniel Martinez-Najera, conducted WntA CRISPR experiments on several butterfly species, including Buckeyes, Painted Ladies, and Gulf Fritillaries.
