Panda presents her research on Hox co-factors extradenticle and homothorax at the Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS), along with friend Helen Harrison from the Kaufer lab and Patel lab summer REU student Christian Garrido with his research on putative Hox co-factor Teashirt/Tiptop.

They found some time to visit the sites around Washington D.C., and invent the newest dance phenomenon, “Squiding”.
